Early registration for the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) Texas Emissions Inventory Workshop opened October 29th. The workshop is scheduled for January 20, 2020 at J.J. Pickle Research Campus, The University of Texas at Austin Commons Learning Center (10100 Burnet Road, Building #137).
Workshop agenda topics include:
- Emissions Inventory (EI) Applicability, Recent Updates, Fees Overview: Reporting requirements, due dates, 2019 updates to the EI Guidelines, and a brief introduction to the Air Fees Programs.
- EI Fundamentals: How to represent basic and complex equipment in EI structure, using best available methodology, speciation, and determining ozone season emissions.
- Supporting Documentation: Different types of supporting documentation, guidance for common source types, and how to submit confidential information.
- Web-EI Reporting Live Demonstration: Setting-up State of Texas Environmental Electronic Reporting System (STEERS) user accounts, overview of the web-EI reporting options, and additional details on the delta file process.
- Emissions Events (EE) and Maintenance Startup Shutdown (MSS) Reporting by the Office of Compliance and Enforcement (OCE): Basics of reporting reportable EE and MSS to the OCE Air Emissions Events Database.
- EE and MSS Reporting in the EI: How to report EE and MSS emissions in the EI and how to represent permitted MSS emissions in EI structure.
- Web Emissions Banking and Trading (EBT) Reporting Overview: How to submit EBT applications through the web.
